| Fractals: shapes of the nature? Now we are entering in one of the most beautiful sections of the Chaos theory. What at first it began like an observation on the indefinite repetition of a same structure, has ended up giving rise to images of incredible beauty, that have characterized specially this mathematical science, moving away it of the coldness whereupon usually it treats to the rest of the mathematics. But the reason for the study of the fractals is not only their beauty. When contemplating a fractal, inevitably we remember some forms of the nature; it seems that the essence of the reality geometry, and its attractiveness, finds a simulation, or an explanation, in the fractal geometry. |
